Yosemite National Park

The “incomparable valley” was designated a National Park in 1890. Then, 94 years later, in 1984, Yosemite National Park became a World Heritage Site.

Yosemite National Park was one of the first wilderness parks in the US with a full 93% of the park designated as wilderness area. The park includes nearly 1200 square miles of untouched wilderness with glacier carved rock formations, grand sweeping meadows and panoramic Yosemite Valley views.

  • People come from around the world to see the breathtaking waterfalls, sub-alpine meadows, and the unusual cliffs and rock formations of Yosemite Valley
  • Your accommodations while in Yosemite National Park will be at Yosemite Valley Lodge
  • Mariposa Grove, near Yosemite Park’s South Entrance contains the largest stand of giant sequoias in Yosemite National Park (also known as Sierra redwoods or big trees)
  • Glacier Point is a favorite overlook, with an impressive view of Half Dome, Yosemite Valley and the High Sierra
  • The sub-alpine meadow of Tuolumne is a must see attraction, nestled at the foot of an unbelievable mountain range with high majestic peaks and impressive domes
  • Hetch Hetchy is a reservoir and lesser known twin to Yosemite Valley

At 2,425 feet tall, the falling water of Yosemite Falls is the longest drop in the United States and the fifth tallest in the world.

How does Caravan Tours sell these tours for such a low cost?

Caravan delivers volume to our suppliers, who in turn reward us with their very best prices. We in turn pass these savings on to you, and you reward us by buying our tours. As volume continues to rise, we then receive even better prices from our suppliers, and we pass even greater savings on to you. This year our tours are better than ever.
