The hanging bridges tour includes 6 suspension bridges and 16 bridges in total that wind 1.86 miles (3km) through the Costa Rica rainforest canopy.

At nearly 2,000 feet (607 metres) above sea level, Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is located near Fortuna on the boundary between the Costa Rica lowland and highland, which accounts for the abundance of vegetation and wildlife species.
It also lies along the main migratory path for birds migrating between North and Central America making this area a bird lover`s paradise.

The second half of this Costa Rica rainforest tour is easier with mostly downhill and flat hiking sections. Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park also includes two unique trails that provide exceptional bird watching opportunities.
